Home Visits

The Surgery provides a Home Visit service to patients too ill or infirm to travel to the surgery.

If you or your relative require a visit:

Telephone in the morning, preferably before 10.30am.

The receptionist will ask set questions about the illness and whether there is any possibility of coming to the surgery for an emergency appointment.

The doctor may feel that advice on treatment over the phone would be more appropriate.

Help the doctor especially if your house is on a busy road or new estate, or is difficult to find. Give the receptionist instructions and a telephone number. If a visit is not urgent it may be put off until the next day.

Please do not abuse this service as it is very time consuming and more patients can be seen by the doctor in the surgery.
